Silverblaze Login: Existing Customer Reset Steps
Columbia County’s bill page references Silverblaze as the new payment portal after the scheduled May 12, 2025 go-live. Existing customers should use the reset path, not create confusion with old saved credentials.
Open the My Account Login page
Use the official Columbia County Water Utility login page, then select Forgot your password? if you were an existing customer before Silverblaze.
Use the reset email
Follow the reset link sent to your email. The county’s instructions say imported Paymentus user profiles were moved into Silverblaze.
Answer temporary security questions
The instructions say first and last names may be masked and security question/answer defaulted during import. After access, review and update profile information.
Check linked accounts
After your first successful login, go to My Profile and check Account List to make sure the correct water account is linked.
Quick Pay instead: If you only need to pay once, Quick Pay lets you locate the bill with account number and last name without registration.
Service Interrupted, Delinquent Fee or Late Payment
Interrupted service
If service has been interrupted, the county says to call the Water Utility Office at 706-863-6928 during normal business hours after making payment to assure restoration.
$60 delinquent fee
Customers paying online after service interruption must pay the total balance due plus an additional $60 delinquent fee.
11 PM processing
Online payments initiated after 11 PM may not be processed until the following business day.

Columbia County’s drinking water is withdrawn from the Savannah River or Thurmond Lake Reservoir at Clarks Hill. Up to 46 MGD is withdrawn from the Savannah River and treated at the Jim Blanchard Water Treatment Facility; the Clarks Hill plant can treat up to 8 MGD.

Columbia County posted that Georgia EPD declared a statewide Drought Response Level 1 on April 27, 2026 for public water systems using surface water and/or groundwater.
