Clay Water Utility 2026 Residential Rates and Bill Estimator

Most residential bills

CCUA says about 70% of residential customers would see a monthly bill increase of less than $3 under the 2025/2026 adopted rate plan.

Monthly billing

CCUA states that all bills are processed monthly, and base facility charges and usage charges are billed in arrears.

Water tier 2
Next 6,000 gallons: $5.57 per 1,000 gallons.

Water tier 3
Next 6,000 gallons: $7.21 per 1,000 gallons.

Wastewater usage
$4.62 per 1,000 gallons with 10,000-gallon cap for all meter sizes.

Leak credit

CCUA says customers may qualify for a credit after an unusually high bill caused by a severe water leak when proof of repair is provided and the situation meets policy criteria.

Pool fill credit

Pool-fill credit applies to wastewater charges for one fill per calendar year. Written requests must be submitted no later than 30 days after completion of filling.

Sod credit

New sod credit may apply if at least one pallet of sod was installed, no sod credit was issued in the last five years, and a Water Conservation Assessment is scheduled within 30 days.
